I love Linens! (another chance at the giveaway)

You cannot imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this wonderful find! I love linens, especially vintage or vintage reproductions. This adorable vintage repro tablecloth was 50% off! Yeah! Covered with pink and red cherries, it's just as sweet as sweet can be! It's going to look perfect on my antique drop leaf table I'm refinishing. (another yard sale find, thanks to a tip from my friend Jami)

Just look at the adorable little bag it came in. Gotta love the rickrack too!

I just love cherry patterns, I swear this was made just for me! :) Hmmm... that reminds me, I need to get going on those felt cherry embellishments! See inspiration is everywhere!

SO...if you'd like another opportunity to win those fabulous ittie bitties and journaling stickers (see previous post) here's your chance! Where do you find inspiration? I'd love it if you'd share some of what inspires you, so leave a comment after this post to be entered in the drawing!

Remeber, Jenn at http://www.boysmamaXtwo.blogspot.com and I are doing this giveaway together! I'm giving away her Bitties, and she is giving away some of my Sparkled Felt Blossoms. So go check out her blog and her shop "My Creative Mess" at http://www.boysmamaXtwo.etsy.com. The giveaway will run through this Friday, so check back daily for more chances to enter. Oh, and for every purchase you make from the shop this week I will enter your name in the drawing too.

Have a great day... got lots of new goodies in the works and restocking old ones as well!

Flea Market Finds

I thought I'd share some vintage treasures I found at a local flea market. Antiques and vintage lovelies always inspire me. I hope they do the same for you!

This is my favorite find, a 1940's tablecloth! I luuuvvv anything from the 40's, so I was thrilled to snatch this up. Best of all, it was a heck of a bargain too!

I adore depression glass. I have a pretty little set of green dessert plates that I got from my grandmother, so when I saw this cake plate I had to have it! It will be the perfect set for coffee and dessert!

This pretty little had mirror's handle reminds me of the art deco lines of the 40's, so of course I snapped it up. You just gotta love that green color too!

I'm am shamelessly addicted to dishes. It's a sickness passed down generations in my family, and much to my hubby's dismay, there is no cure! :) I just couldn't resist this sweet little glass plate!

I hope these colors, patterns, and styles inspire you! Add some vintage flair and a few found objects to your next craft project!

New Items in the Shop!

I've got quite a few new items for the shop. I started putting some in yesterday, and I'm going to add more today. I thought I'd show you a peek at some of the goodies!

The first two photos are part of an autumn themed embellishment kit.
Glitter, vintage images, and ribbon! Oh so pretty!

Yummy fall felt and layered blossoms.

This is part of the "Birds of a Feather" embellishment kit.
Sweet little artisan labels! So much fun to layer and journal!

Just a few little peeks to get your creativity flowing! These embellishments are going to be sold as part of a kit, but I would be happy to make more for individual sale if anyone is interested! Just contact me in the shop! (etsy shop link to the right)

Wouldn't you just love to have a room to create in that inspires you as soon as you set foot in the doorway? I definitely need to take the time to make my space beautiful and, if you haven't already, you should too! Now where did I put that Robin's Egg Blue paint sample?... I'll be back later today with a sneak peak at some new things I'm working on for the shop. See you then!
