Whew....

It's so nice to be almost back to normal! My children have been battling the dreaded swine flu for the last week or two. It has been a long haul for sure... several scary nights of 105+ fevers and really sick children. I was even running a fever off and on for several days. But... so far so good today... no fevers for anyone and, aside from nagging coughs, the kids feel so much better. If we make it through today with no fevers the pediatrician said we are free and clear! YEAH! So... now that I have a bit of time I thought I'd share some photos from Apple Fest. This my the booth my pal Jami and I had.

We were really happy with the way our booth turned out, unfortunately though the weather did not cooperate. It was the coldest October day we have had here in 20+ years. We froze our tushes off and apparently looked pretty funny doing it. The few brave festival goers that came all stopped to laugh and comment on our set up. Some even took our pictures! We couldn't figure out what was so funny, but then again we were sitting in camp chairs, bundled in sleeping bags, hats, scarves, and gloves, sitting in front of a mini propane heater... well at least the booth looked pretty!
I have lots of fall and holiday goodies to add to my etsy shop, I'll share some previews here when I get them photographed! Have a great day!

Dearest Donna,
You sweet dear, I already have jello in the fridge and a pot roast in the oven. I was even able to iron everything in the house today, and yes I did all this in my heals! Maybe we can catch up on our stich work at bridge club later!
love, june

Hello, my lovely friend, I'd like the pattern for that cutest of aprons if you have it, darling.
