Some Basics

Hey there! Popping in to share another freebie with you today. I have so many I want to post here, but the lazy days of summer have us pretty busy! ;) Today I'm posting a fun everyday set of journaling cards. They have a whitewashed chevron pattern, which is everywhere right now. The bright colors would be perfect for your summer photos!

Click HERE to download this set.  Please remember these files are for personal use only, and remain the property of Pink Owl Paperie.  Thanks so much and enjoy!

Hope your summer days are leaving you some time to get crafting.  I haven't been able to do too much lately, but I'm hoping to get some more vacation photos scrapbooked this week.  I'll have more fun freebies to share soon.

Summer Road Trip

I love a good road trip. I had some summer vacation photos from last year that I was behind on, so I got to work making some journaling cards to go with them, and figured you could put 'em to good use too. So here is "Road Trip."

Click HERE to download this set. Please remember all files are for personal use only and remain the property of Pink Owl Paperie. Thanks and happy scrapping!

This set would be fun to print out before a road trip too and then you could use them to journal your memories along the way! Whatever you use them for I'd love to see it! Happy crafting!

More Calendar Cards

Yesterday I shared the colorful version of these, so today I'm posting a black and white version.

Click HERE to download this set.  All files are for personal use only and remain the property of Pink Owl Paperie.  Thanks and enjoy.

These calendar card sets also include some digital date stamps.  The colorful set has black stamps and this set has the white ones.  I love to layer these right over my photos and I fill in blanks using a fun typewriter or handwriting font in a contrasting color.  Oh, don't forget to use your pencil tool to circle the date too. :)  You can always print, cut, and use your favorite pen, vintage typewriter, or alphabet stamps for hybrid projects.  These are great for birthday cards.  Get creative with them today!

Monday Monday

Another lovely week of summer begins, and I hope your getting some scrapbooking in! (even if it's in the middle of the night or the wee hours of morning like me) ;) I find I always seem to have lots of creative juices flowing in summer, but it's so hard not to spend every waking moment outside. Especially around here, where we only get 90-100 days of summer! How about you? I'd love to know your tricks for keeping up with your scrapbooking during the summer months. Today I'm sharing a super versatile set of journaling/ Project Life cards that should make it easier to get a few pages done. Colorful calendar cards!

Click HERE to download this set. All files are for personal use only and remain the property of Pink Owl Paperie. Thanks so much and happy crafting!

Just choose your month, circle your date, and away you go! I hope you enjoy these.

My First Class set comes with vintage inspired labels and stamps and a post card overlay. Layer them up on your digital scrapbook pages or print and cut to add them to a traditional layout or hybrid project. I use this particular set a lot with my Fourth of July and Christmas projects.

Father's Day Gift Tags

I'm sharing a Father's Day gift idea today.  The kiddo's and I went shopping for Father's Day and wound up picking out 3 silly gifts.  I thought it would be fun to give each gift with a tag saying why we picked it.  I whipped up a few tags for us to use and I'm happy to share.

One of the gifts the kids picked for Dad was a t-shirt with the Super Man "S" on the front, so this is the tag we are gonna put with that gift.  They had tons of fun T-shirts for dads at Target.  I left the tag for you blank so you can fill in your own reasons or just print out one of the other designs.

Just click on the image above and then right click to save it to your computer.  These are for personal use only please.  Have a great day!

Father's Day Card

Hi there! Father's Day is getting closer, so I thought I'd share a Father's Day card printable. I love mustaches, (fake ones that is) they just make me smile. I figured Father's day was the perfect time to use a mustache card from a new set I'll be sharing here soon.

Just click on the photo above, then right click to save it.  Remember to place it at the far right side of you paper/document before you print it so you can fold it into a card when you are done.  I'll be back with another Father's Day printable later this week.  Have a great day!

Monday's are better with free stuff!

Oh it's Monday and another week begins. My kiddo's are officially on Summer Break so we are starting to enjoy some lazy days already. I'm getting a little scrapbooking in before they get up and I thought I'd share another freebie.

I use my "By the Numbers" sets all the time. I use them on layouts (like the one above), print 'em out and make them into banners, wall art, tags for baskets, etc. They are really pretty great to have on hand, especially when you can use them over and over again!

You can click HERE to download the red and cream set. All files are for personal use only and remain property of Pink Owl Paperie. Thanks so much and happy crafting!

Here's the skinny...

It's been a long time since I posted anything here or in my shop. I have finally realized I love creating and designing, but I do not like running a shop and trying to sell things. So from now on, I'll be using this blog to post free digital/printable scrapbook supplies I design. So now I can design scrapbooking supplies and share them with you too! I have been trying to get our vacation pictures scrapbooked and recently created some beachy themed journaling cards to go with them. The cards are 3x4 or 4x3 so they are perfect for project life or pocket scrapbooking too! Once you download the file you can use them for your digital projects and pages or print them out for paper projects. Click HERE to download. These files are for personal use only, and remain the property of Pink Owl Paperie! Thanks so much and happy scrapbooking! I hope you have fun using this set! I'll be back with some more freebies soon. Have a great day!

i heart photo masks!

Nothing makes digital scrapbooking easier than photo masks. They come in extra handy for times when I have too many photos of one event but can't seem to weed any out. ;) I know I have a problem.... Here are a few layouts I did using a photo mask I made to help me get the job done quickly. Here is the mask...

and here are the layouts...

Quick and easy! They work great for Project Life/Project 365 too. Photo masks allow you to drop in your photos and elements and with a few clicks crop it all down to size. Since I wont be able to explain it in a way you could understand, (I am TERRIBLE at explaing the workings of photoshop) I found you a tutorial on how to use em. Here is one you could check out, but the web it full of them! Have a great day and get some scrapbooking done! :)

Ahhh Summer...

Hey there! Long time no see huh?! We've been having a great, but busy, summer and I hope you have too! I've been trying to squeak in a little scrapbooking in between trips, projects, and lazy days by the pool. I thought I'd pop in today a share a few layouts.

Aren't they cute! I know I am a bit biased, but I can't help it. Oh, and yes I know my little guy (who is not so little now) will not be happy I scrapbooked him in a tutu. ;) On this layout I used my "Take Note" kit coming soon to my shop. Here is the one I used.

On this 2 page layout I used the "Gypsy Queen" kit from my shop.

Well thats all for today! I hope you are enjoying your summer, spending lazy days with your kiddos, being creative, and scrapbooking!

Scrapin Away

I am NOT a morning person. If I had my way, I really wouldn't get up before 10 am and wouldn't go to bed before midnight... but being a mom to 3 busy kiddos means this is not a possibility. I am always trying to turn myself into a morning person, so I've been motivating myself with some scrapbook time. I get up early have a little coffee and some quiet time then into the craft room. I get a half hour or so to scrapbook before it's time to get the kids up for school. I'm loving it! (not as much as I would love to sleep till 10 but I'm working on it!)

So here the am perks: finished layouts yeah!

I used some of my journaling cards from the Department Store set and the Take Note set (soon to be listed in my shop).

On this layout I used journaling cards from the Pretty as a Princess and the Springtime in Paris sets.

If you are a morning person, I'd love to know how you do it! ;)
